About Noni and her love for knitting
I grew up in North Yorkshire, England in the 1950’s, where my mother taught me to knit at a very young age. I had my 4 children in the 70’s and 80’s, and took great pride in knitting all their jackets, jumpers, booties, and blankets. Everything was machine washable and eventually passed onto friends and family for their children.
I especially love creating bassinet blankets, very time consuming but well worth the effort, love and care taken. I have also challenged myself to create new patterns with huge success.
They can be used as blankets, swaddles and comforters and I am proud to say my grandchildren and great-grandchildren are still using them at the age of 7.
